Lumbar cushion

The lumbar support is custom designed as a full back lumbar or insert lumbar unit, it supports the lumbar area and upper back providing self regulated comfort using a push button valve operation. It can be found in all classes of aircraft seating: first, business, economy and commuter.

Seat base cushion

The Jetrest Seatbase cushion units is a customized one piece unit. By operating the push button valve it will mould itself to the body shape of the occupant giving self regulated comfort.

Cushion Features

The JetRest cushion rest of seat base, lumbar and headrest cushions has various features to provide personalized self regulated comfort, controlled pressure venting for cabin decompression and FR properties.

• Valve: To deflate the cushion, the push button valve is pressed and pressure is applied to the cushion. The cushion can be re-inflated by removing the passenger's weight from the cushion and pressing the push button valve until the cushion reaches it's original size.
  
  There are two valves designs:
  - Direct Operation: The passenger operates the push button valve in its position in the cushion.
  - Remote Manual Operation: The cushion is remotely operated by cable with the push button mounted in the armrest.


• Auto-bleed: This feature allows the partially deflated cushion to return to its original shape after the passenger has vacated the seat.


• Decompression: this feature will vent excessive air pressure from the cushion in the event of cabin decompression.


• Thermal Resistance: FAA seat burn test - FAR 25.853(c).


• Material Flammability: Meets FAA 25.853(a)(1)(ii).
